BAM - Beachmere Art & Music

When BANG won Moreton Bay Regional Council's Animating Moreton Grant it was full steam ahead to bring Beachmere's very first music festival to fruition.

The BAM Festival included a series of workshops, live entertainment, dance performance, open mic sessions, roving entertainers, a Photography Exhibition and Outdoor Art & Sculpture Exhibition.

Saturday, 1 July brought all these elements together with live music performances from The Counterfeit Umbrellas, the Zephyr Project and The Dennis Sisters.

Workshops ran throughout the day - you could choose from Tie Dying, Candle Making, Circus Skills, Smart Phone Photography and Drone Photography - or do ALL of them.

A Digital Production Workshop and a Jazz / Hip Hop Dance Workshop ran prior to the Festival with elements included in the Festival itself.

A huge team of volunteers made the BAM Festival possible.  We cannot wait to "do it all again".
